Bow Wow Meow Luau Adopt-a-thon

PAWSibilities®, Humane Society of Greater Akron is hosting a luau themed adopt-a-thon on Saturday, June 29 from 10AM – 6PM.  They are inviting the public to come see their adoptable animals, tour the facility and join them for refreshments throughout the day.

“We notice that our population is much higher during the spring and summer months due to puppy and kitten season” commented Kristin Branagan, Director of Behavior and Adoption Services. “Our goal for the event is to find as many animals forever homes as possible.” On this day only, the adoption fee for dogs (over the age of 6 months) will be only $55 and cats (over the age of 6 months) will be $5! All animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, micro-chipped and include a 30 free trial of pet insurance upon adoption. To preview our adoptable animals, visit our website at www.summithumane.org.

Pawsibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron rescues and rehabilitates abused, abandoned and neglected animals of Summit County, places them in good homes, investigates and prosecutes animal cruelty, while striving to set a standard of excellence and leadership in animal care, humane education, and progressive animal welfare programs.
