COLLEGE TOWN KENT HOSTS 2013 SUMMER TOUR JUNE 29

Kent’s newest retail and restaurant development, College Town Kent, will host a 2013 Summer Tour event on Saturday, June 29 from 1 – 6 p.m.  

Featuring an open house environment, guests are invited to register for a passport on site and tour each of the tenants for an opportunity to win prizes and collect giveaways. 

Activities will include fashion displays and demos by retailers such as Carnaby Street Style, Gracy Lane, One Love Yoga Boutique, Rush Dino Palmeri Salon and Spa and Universitees and food and beverage samples from Bar 145, Dave’s Cosmic Subs, Fresco Mexican Grill and Salsa Bar, Georgio’s Oven Fresh Pizza Co., Imsomnia Cookies, Newdle Bar, Paninis and Yogurt Vi. 

Also included are free children’s activities including face painting, balloon artistry and cookie decorating as well strolling musical entertainment throughout the afternoon and into the evening at select restaurants.  Tours of Ametek, a leading global manufacturer of advanced electronic instruments and highly engineered technical motors and precision motion control products, will also be available from 1 – 3 p.m. 

Located at E. Erie Street and S. Water Street in downtown Kent, College Town Kent is a pedestrian-oriented shopping, office and lifestyle center with a blend of local, regional and national shops, restaurants and businesses which are integrated into the fabric of the downtown and connected to the main campus of KSU.
