Free Lemonade Stands in Stow to Benefit Local Charities

Mayoral Candidate Scott Buck is providing free accoutrements for Stow residents to have lemonade stands in the city.

Everyone loves lemonade stands, right? Well, everyone loves free lemonade stands even more.

Stow Mayoral Candidate  is one of those people. He is offering free lemonade, ice, cups and coolers, with the help of  in Stow, to residents of the city who would like to have a lemonade stand. 

The cost to use the free lemonade stand? Buck said 10 percent of the sales will be donated to any of these charities or non-profits:

"I don’t have to win election to have positive effect on community," said Buck, who will be one of three candidates seeking votes in the Sept. 13 primary.

City Council Vice President  and newcomers  and  are also running for mayor. (Mayor Karen Fritschel is not seeking re-election due to term limits.)

"Our attitude is that we always stop for a lemonade stand when we see them," said Buck about he and his wife, Sheilla.

Anyone interested in having a lemonade stand must be under 18 and follow the city's rules on lemonade stands.

Call Scott Buck at 330-328-8990 to arrange a day and time to collect the supplies. 

Buck said those having the lemonade stand can pick how much to sell it for and the charity to donate to from the list above.

"Who knows what this will turn into," said Buck.
