Thanks for your comments. Here at Primary Pet Care, we want any animal to be healthy when they areRead More going under general anesthesia. This is why we want to examine the pets prior to surgery. Your physician will not do surgery on you without examining you first and neither will we. If the animal is not healthy, there is a chance they may not make through the surgery. No one wants to have that happen especially if it is preventable. We will not take the risk with your pets. Vaccinations are one of the ways that helps pets stay healthy. The feline viruses, FELV and FIV, reduce the immune system's function and will put the cat at risk during surgery. Since there is no cure for these viruses, knowing if the cat is infected is very important. Our web site has all the prices listed for vaccinations and for surgery. I am not sure why you do not want your animals vaccinated and healthy before any surgery is performed.
