I've been living in Stow for 5 years now and have a couple of issues with the police department. My house was vandalized and robbed 2.5 years ago and to date, we have never heard from the Stow police on any type of updates on our case. The night we were robbed, two police officers came to our house that couldn't have been over 5'3" (male) and didn't take photos, finger prints, foot prints...nothing. And that was it. However, the police will be the first to pull over someone who's windows are a little too dark or they turned into the wrong lane from the light. I know that is a huge safety issue that can possibly be detrimental to the community. I mean, really? I know there is very little action in Stow to require the use of the police force through out the day, but good Lord, find the people that robbed my house. Quit pulling people over for flabby reasons. Respect is earned, not a given. Earn the respect.
