Pick Your Own Fruits and Veggies at a Local Farm
Fall begins this week and berries, apples and pumpkins are ripe for the picking.
The arrival of fall marks the beginning of harvest season. It’s a great time of year to enjoy the outdoors by visiting a farm and picking your own produce, visiting a farmer's market or taking a hayride. Here are some farms to visit in our area. 1. Heavenly Hill Farm, North Royalton Owner Cindy Ellis says you can pick your own apples for $0.79 per pound. The Kid's Special for $6.22 consists of a hayride, bounce house, corn maze, and they get to pick a small pumpkin. Varieties of apples are available.
