High School Hires New Assistant Principal

Chris DiMauro just signed a two-year contract after the Board of Education approved hiring him as the assistant principal at the high school.

Chris DiMauro, the new assistant principal at the Stow-Munroe Falls High School is no stranger to building or the students. Before the Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education approved his two-year contract Aug. 8, he taught 11th and 12th grade language arts and American and British literature.  The start of this school year marks his seventh year with the district. "We're really excited to have our new assistant principal. We look forward to your leadership and interaction with our staff," Superintendent Russ Jones said during the Aug. 8 meeting. Former Stow High School Assistant Principal to Bring Expertise, Enthusiasm to Cuyahoga Falls

Don Ross to serve as new assistant principal and athletic director for Woodridge High School.

Former Stow High School assistant principal Don Ross has one goal in mind when he starts his new position as assistant principal and athletic director of Woodridge High School on August 1. “Keep the good things going and not mess those up,” he says. “Where there needs to be improvement, work on those things.” Ross comes to Woodridge High School after five years as an assistant principal at Stow-Munroe Falls High School and 15 years as a teacher and head football coach at Cuyahoga Falls High School.    “It’s no different than when I was a coach,” he explains. “I want to do the right things and do them properly and don’t want to disappoint those people who show a lot of confidence in me.
