Stow Honors Fallen Safety Officers by Lighting Luminaries
Officers, residents and families attend the city's second annual luminary event Dec. 18.
The Stow Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #82, the Stow International Association of Firefighters Local #1662 and the Stow Police Reserve Unit hosted a Christmas Luminaries event at 6 p.m. Dec. 18. Those who attended lit candles in 83 red bags to represent firefighters, candles were lit in 105 blue bags to represent police officers and five extra bags were places to represent officers who could still get hurt.
