Thurday morning the University of Akron announced that the former The Ohio State University head football coach is the vice president of strategic engagement with an annual salary of $200,000, according to an Ohio.com story. I think this move is great - both for Jim and Akron U. He's quite an innovator in many respects and the university will surely benefit from his expertise. Quite frankly, he really got "screwed" at OSU by his own players and the Board. He wins this time! Go Zips! more ›

Well said! It is happening in MANY MANY colleges, not just Ohio State. He did lose his credibility when he lied about his knowledge of it, so he had to go. We still LOVE our Ohio State, though. Straighten up guys and play by the rules! more ›

I'm Sorry But, this man's actions lead directly to a very fine football program's being shut out of all post season play even if they prove themselves to be the best team fielded in 2012 by going undefeated or at least 12-1. And I graduated from "that other university up north". more ›
