In the style of MTV's television show, If You Really Knew Me, Stow-Munroe Falls High School students were challenged to tear down the walls that separate them during an emotional day.
Parents, teachers, administrators and about 80 Stow-Munroe Falls High School students participated in MTV's If You Really Knew Me Challenge Day April 18. High School Principal Susan Schur said through the help of grants, the district paid $6,000 for MTV to come to the school. During the all-day event, athletes became friends with emos, cheerleaders were friendly with those on the chess team and outcasts shared hugs with the popular clique. Just like the television show, students also supported each other when sharing personal stories about their life. An MTV employee interviewed students at the high school March 29 for possible candidates for 'MADE,' a television show helping teens achieve their dreams.
Student Council Teacher Shane Conwell said there was such a popular response yesterday, MADE on MTV is coming by to interview more students March 30.

Amanda great coverage, thanks for getting out there and sharing the many great things like MTV Made that we have at SMFHS!
