Just Two Saturdays Left in Farmers Market Season
This week's Stow event will feature the return of homemade pierogies and the musical stylings of Mike Harvan.
Area meteorologists all agree: There will be no rain Saturday during the second-to-last Stow Community Farmers Market of the 2012 season. The market is open from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Stow Community United Church of Christ parking lot (behind The Briarwood between Englewood and Baumberger Drives). A new food introduced at the market last week – homemade pierogies – were a huge hit with shoppers and they’ll be available again this week on a first-come, first-served basis. The potato or sauerkraut pierogies served with sautéed onions, sold by the dozen or half dozen, can be eaten on the spot or taken home.
