Time Warner Cable Services Were Out — What Did You Do Instead?
For many the inconvenience of not having cable last night was major because the NBA draft was on.
Internet (at times), cable and phones have been out in the Akron-area for hours Thursday night, according to a Time Warner Cable phone recording. Several people have commented and complained about the outage on the Stow Patch Facebook page. Outages have been reported in Tallmadge, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Silver Lake and Munroe Falls. There isn't much information at this time, but Patch wants to know ... what else did you do last night? Did you pick up a book? Get some cleaning done? Run to a bar/restaurant to watch the NBA draft? I just find it hard to believe that adults can't find something to do when cable goes down. I'm 70 years old and have no problem picking up a book, reading chapters in the Bible, cleaning an area of the house that I've neglected, going out for ice cream or a local sports event.
