Parents have taken to Patch and social media to say they are upset that the class lists can't be posted sooner than Aug. 17, a few days before the start of school.
Patch announced this week that elementary class lists will be posted on school doors Aug. 17 — six days before students are supposed to report to class. Wondering about some back-to-school information?

The district announced July 25 that class lists will be posted on the main doors for all elementary buildings on Aug. 17 by 4:00 p.m. Speaking of elementary buildings, vote for which school you think is the best in this Readers' Choice poll. "It worked so well at the high school that the superintendent said it would be beneficial for the seventh grade students to become acclimated with a new building," said District Spokeswoman Jacquie Mazziotta. Here's the new schedule: (the only change is that eight grade students return a day later than originally planned.) Start/End Times:

However, I experienced 7 years of the …   more ›
