Farmer's Market Extending Season
The market will go deep into the fall once council approves the extension Thursday.

The Planning Committee agreed to move forward with plans to expand the Stow Community United Church of Christ Farmer's Market deeper into the fall during City Council's Monday meeting. Committee Chairwoman Sara Drew recommended council extend the farmers market until Oct. 29 and extend hours to 2 p.m. each Saturday. The change is expected to be approved by council on Thursday. Currently, the market runs from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through Sept. 17 in the parking lot at the west side of the church, right off Pilgrim Drive.
