A 16-year-old Stow-Munroe Falls High School student is being charged with telecommunications harassment after taking a photo of a girl performing a sexual act with him and putting it on Twitter, according to a Stow police report. The act happened on Jan. 28 in a high school stairway, the report stated. The boy is 16 and the girl is either 14 or 15 years old, police said. Using his phone, the boy snapped a picture of the girl while she was performing the act and first sent it to three friends, the report stated. The boy later posted the photo on Twitter and then took it down. By that time, the photo had started circulating in the school, the report stated. On Jan. 17, a 18-year-old woman parked her car overnight on Iona Avenue, according to a Stow police report. When she walked out in the morning, she found all four of her tires had been slashed, the painting keyed and items were removed from the inside of her car and put on the street, the report stated. The tires on another car farther down the street were also slashed. The damage to the 18-year-old's car totals $2,100. Police said there is a suspect in the case, but no one has been arrested. The suspect faces charges of criminal damaging and vehicular trespass.

What started as a simple equipment violation turned into something bigger on Jan. 23. Stow police pulled over Emmanuel Maxwell, 21, of Silver Lake, for not having a back license plate light, according to a police report. After running his name through their system, officers then realized he had a suspended driver's license and his license plate didn't belong to the car he was driving, the report stated. After searching Maxwell's car, officers found 2 grams of cocaine and a straw with cocaine residue on it, the report said. Police charged Maxwell with a felony charge of possession of cocaine. He was also charged with drug paraphernalia, fictitious plates and driving under a suspended license, the report stated.

On Jan. 18, a Friar Road homeowner reported his Havanese dog had been stolen from his yard, according to a Stow police report. The man told police there are two dogs with free access to his yard through a dog door. The gate to his yard was locked and secured before the dog was taken, the report said. After the dog was stolen, police found the door was partially pried open. Police say the dog is still missing. It is a male, black and white Havanese dog wearing a black collar. His name is Barkley and has long hair. If you see this dog, call the Stow Police Department at 330-689-5700.

On Jan. 2, an employee from Alex Rod Rubbish Recycling in Cleveland called Stow Police to report the theft of two dumpsters from Taco Bell, a report said. Police could not comment on how big the dumpsters are, but they are worth $2,000. There are no suspects at this time, according to police.

On Jan. 4, a Bobwhite Trail homeowner called Stow Police to report a break-in, according to a report. Apparently suspects broke into the home and set the victim's couch on fire. Police have suspects, but could not reveal more information because the investigation is ongoing. The suspects did not steal anything from the home, the report said.

A 40-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man was pulled over at the intersection of Graham and Fishcreek roads on Jan. 7 after running a red light, according to a Stow policereport. The officer clocked Daniel Pivarski driving 60 mph in a 35 mph, zone, the report said. After running the red light, he was pulled over. Officers could tell Pivarski was heavily intoxicated and he was holding a mug with an iced mixed drink in it, the report said. Pivarski also had a jar with two small bags of marijuana in it. The man refused a breath test. Police charged Pivarski with drunken driving, speeding, running a red light and possession of drugs. Pivarski has three prior drunken driving convictions, according to police.

They are equally wrong. To have any type of sex act occurring in a public place is illegal. Sexting is illegal when it involves underage children. Sexting, indecent exposure, lude acts, you name it - they did it. And they are ALL against the law. Yes, charges need to be brought against the boy. Seriously. It's the LAW.
