Joe's Auto Owner Pumps the Brakes on Development Plan

It appears there's been a miscommunication between owner Vince Bowen and the Cuyahoga Falls Planning Commission over future plans for the car repair/tow business.

The proposed Joe's Auto development plan might be taking a detour. Earlier this week, the Stow Sentry reported Vince Bowen, owner of Joe's Auto, intended to move his car repair and tow business to 488 E. Steels Corners Rd. in the Falls. The parcel is zoned E-1 Employment, which permits auto repair and tow/impound lots after a conditional zoning permit has been issued. The commission unanimously approved the request for Joe’s to move onto the 1.813-acre parcel. The plan will now go in front of Cuyahoga Falls City Council for final approval. "...I'm all …
