Dorothy Evelyn Reese, 89, Church Activist

From Redmon Funeral Home: Dorothy Evelyn Reese passed away peacefully in Stow on Dec. 15, 2012 at the age of 89, to be joined with Frank, her late husband of 64 years. Dorothy was a homemaker who loved her flowers, gardening, and crocheting. She spent many hours canning and preserving the bounty of her and Frank’s gardens. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Stow for over 50 years, where she was very active as a deaconess, in Guild, Vacation Bible School, and many, many other activities. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Reese, her parents Ray and Nettie Miller, son Tom Reese and brothers Jim Miller and Jay Miller.
