Stow Police Foil Inept Theft

The following was obtained from a Stow police report. It does not indicate a conviction.

This hapless pair of thieves never had a chance.  On Feb. 1 at 6:24 p.m., two teenagers walked into the Norton Road Giant Eagle, snagged multiple bottles of liquor and Crest Whitening Strips off the shelves, and fled, according to a Stow police report.  Unfortunately, supermarket staff wrote down the license plate number of their getaway car and foiled their well-laid plan.  Stow police looked up the plate and found the boys at a Hudson residence minutes after the theft. After being questioned by officers, the boys handed over the stolen goods, totaling $560.  Each was cited for theft.

First of all the article never mentioned the position of the offender, just that it was "a 31-year-old Hudson City School employee" and that she was female. Who knows, it could have been an Administrator, Secretary, Teacher, Janitor or Bus Driver. Is the Hudson School Superintendent 31 years old?   more ›
