Cuyahoga Falls resident wins the four-day stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky.
Victory arms raised above his head. Sippy cup in one hand. No. 1 finger pointing on the other. And the winningest grin a 2-year-old can muster. William Bucur's photo of his 2-year-old son Benjamin garnered the Grand Prize in the Ohio Patch Little Fan contest. Bucur wins a four-day stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky. Runner-up was Debbie Schinker of Stow, for her amusing photo of daughter Emily before a Browns game. Judges were Jean Dubail and Susan Patton, Ohio Patch regional editors, Kaye Spector, Ohio Patch associate regional editor, and professional photographer Roadell Hickman. Here they are: the 16 local winners in the first Patch Little Fan Contest. Each won a $50 gift certificate to a local restaurant and now are being considered for the Grand Prize -- a stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky! A panel of judges will decide the Grand Prize contest. Doesn't Emily Schinker's baby face just epitomize how every Browns fan has felt this season and for years? We thought so — we being a team of three judges who selected this photo out of 21 entries as the winner of the Stow Patch "Little Fan" contest. "That kid had a war face that would scare Jim Brown. Woof! Woof!" said Cuyahoga Falls Patch Local Editor Dave Wilson, who was one of the judges in the contest. Emily is now 12-years-old, but was only 4-months-old when this photo was snapped in 1999. Emily was slightly embarrassed the photo her father, John, took resurfaced years later, her mom Debbie Schinker said.
