Police Find Gun at Stow Playground

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

On Oct. 12, Stow Police officers were dispatched to S.O.A.R. playground for a report of four suspicious males around 10 p.m. When officers arrived, they interviewed the four men and then found a five-cylinder revolver on the ground near where the men were standing in the park, according to the report. The weapon was picked up by an officer and placed into property. Police have a serial number for the weapon and are investigating who it belongs to. On Oct. 26, the same playground was vandalized. Police said they went to Silver Springs Park and saw the playground equipment had black and white spraypaint all over it.
