Love is in the air, the birds are singing, and Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Your special evening wouldn't be complete without a little romantic music, and we want to be your maestro. But we need your help. Dedicate your favorite love songs to your special someone in the comments, and we'll add it to a Spotify playlist that we'll share with you on Valentine's Day. So send us your Barry White, your Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra and, heck, even the Backstreet Boys. We'll add it to the list, but remember, this is a family website, so keep it PG. Happy Holidays, Patchers! It's time to start planning those parties and family get-togethers we love at this time of year. If you're the party planner, it's always nice to have a playlist ready to last you through the evening. We want to help you with that playlist (one thing you can check off your to-do list!) but we need your help first. Tell us: What is your favorite holiday song? The city is creating a "blast" firework soundtrack and you get to help pick the music.
Creating a Spotify list is a regular occurrence on Patch, but this week the city needs your help picking out some songs. Stow is creating a "blast" fireworks soundtrack for the Summer Sunset Blast event Sept. 1. Gypsies in the Palace, a Jimmy Buffett cover band, is playing a free show at the event. Linda Nahrstedt, community information coordinator, asked people to keep within the beach theme. Each clip will be played for about 30 seconds during the festival. Leave suggestions in the comments section of this post and Patch will share it with the city and create a Spotify playlist before the blast!

How many days until it's officially summer? Eh, who cares, let's enjoy it while lasts, right? And every cookout or get-together needs a good playlist, which is why we asked you to tell us your favorite summer songs. And, boy, did you tell us.
