Issue 67: Stow-Munroe Falls School District Levy PASSES

The district's renewal levy passed by 3,060 votes.

Election Results for Issue 67: --------- Last updated: 11:48 p.m.  25/25 precincts counted.  Results are final but unofficial according to the Summit County Board of Elections.  "I sincerely appreciate the continued support of the Stow and Munroe Falls communities for our 'Excellent' school district. The passage of Issue 67 reaffirms the support our citizens have for the excellence in education for children every day," said Superintendent Russ Jones. No Write-In Candidates in Stow's Primary

The deadline to file as a write-in candidate for the Sept. 13 primary was July 5.

No one filed to be a write-in candidate in the Sept. 13 primary in Stow, according to the Summit County Board of Elections. The deadline to file was yesterday at 4 p.m.  All of the residents running for office in Stow had their petitions certified by the board June 27. There will be a primary for the City Council At-Large and Ward 3 seats and for the mayor's job. Mayor: (All names are listed in alphabetical order in every race.)
