ReplyDid you know that if you feed a feral cat it becomes yours and the animal control officer won't pick it up?

ReplyI have owned cats and love them. I find the average cat owner to be far more intelligent than the average dog owner. This is not, however, to say that there are no intelligent dog owners in the world. I think Dorothy was a pretty sharp girl. She did, after all, manage to survive some harrowing times in the company of a lion.

ReplyNice, but should be first come first served (equal opportunity for all), but that wouldn't cater to the builder and tenants of the apartment building the guy was allowed to put up without any parking spaces.
And the city made the tattoo guy on South Water jump through hoops.
Money talks.
So be it.

Recycling bins downtown? Are you kidding? There would have to be a bin nazi beside each one. Perhaps you would like to be a volunteer.
Dog owners have no place in a civilized society!

ReplyWell, Mr. Plough, if you truly want to be a good Kent citizen, instead of exerting your half calorie by stepping around it and leaving it there for a blind person to step in, you will exert two calories by bending over and picking it up.
Homeless vagrants off route 8? Be kind. You don't know their situations. And... there, sir, but for the grace of god, go you.

ReplyI guess it would be the once beautiful Caniglia home at 220 South Willow Street next door to my rental. I think of Mrs. Caniglia every time I look at her beautiful climbing roses that now grace the south side of my rental.

ReplyAh, Kent! The City of Lights!
Why is there still a light at Beryl and South Water? Since Tops is no longer in existence I doubt that traffic out of Beryl is sufficient to warrant a light. Is it a legal light?
When is the city going to resurface College Street between Lincoln and the dead end? Or don't the people who live on College Street count for much because most of them are "just students?"

ReplyGreat idea to announce them. That way the drunks can take another route to perhaps kill YOU and YOUR WIFE and BABIES.

Damn birds wake me up at the crack of dawn and crap on my windshield when I open the window and try to rationally discuss the issue with them. Stupid chipmunks running across the street without first looking both ways and drivers screeching to a stop trying to avoid them. Noise, noise, noise! Where is schnee with his crossman powermaster when I need him? Time to return to the good old days when backyard chickens were the major issue confronting the city. And... I have never seen a backyard chicken crapping anywhere downtown.
