Police Arrest Two Mid-Burglary on Mac Drive

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The got a call from a worried Mac Drive homeowner May 11 who said an unknown car was parked at their home. 

Police went to the house at the 1400 block of Mac Drive and saw a 2000 black Plymouth Neon. According to the report, someone had broken through the back window to get into the home. 

Police said they found Brandi L. Haines, 31, of Wellsville and Jesse L. Atkinson, 34, of Akron in the home and arrested them both.

Haines was charged with complicity to burglary, a second-degree felony, and drug abuse, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Atkinson was charged with burglary, a second-degree felony and criminal damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Both were taken to Summit County Jail.
