June 20: Rash of Break-Ins at Auto Shops, Car Stolen

Three auto shops in Stow were broken into the same way, cash was stolen and at one business a car was taken June 20.
In all three incidents, the suspects entered the businesses through a pried open garage door panel.
The first break-in happened around 9 a.m. June 20 at on Darrow Road. The owner told that the panel on the garage door was opened and $150 in cash was stolen.

Keys that were left in the night drop box were also taken, said police. The suspects got away with a 2007 black and silver Ford Escape, which was dropped off for repairs, according to the report.
Breaking and entering is a fifth-degree felony, grand theft is a third-degree felony and criminal mischief is a third-degree misdemeanor.

Later that day, police said around 5 p.m. suspects pried open a garage panel at on Kent Road and stole $100 in cash.
Half an hour later around 5:30 p.m., the garage door panel to down the street on Kent Road was kicked in and $176 in cash was taken.
