Man Hides From Police in Apartment after Dispute with Woman

said an intoxicated man and woman were involved in a dispute June 2 because the woman wouldn't let the man into her apartment. 

Officers said the man cut his hand while breaking out a window on her door.

According to the report, the man left and then came back. But, as police were arriving to the 1900 block of Higby Drive, the man ignored police commands and locked himself in a neighboring residence, officers said.

Police were able to talk to the man, who eventually came out of the apartment. The female refused to cooperate with officers, according to the report. 

The man, form Canton, was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
