Police: Gaming Systems Taken, Two Thefts on Same Street, Day
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
- A resident at the 4100 block of Vira Road told that a screen window was removed from his home and Cleveland Indians memorabilia was taken Aug. 30. The most expensive items missing were three rookie Indians baseball cards, valued at $150 each. Other items included pins, programs and shirts. Burglary is a third-degree felony.
- Another Vira Road man on the same block told police that someone stole about $1,300 in technical devices from his home Aug. 30. The most expensive items missing was a $500 flatscreen television and a $300 glass coffee table. Other items included video games and a gaming system. Burglary is a third-degree felony and criminal damaging is a second-degree misdemeanor in this situation.
- A Marhoffer Avenue resident told police his gaming system, valued at $150, was taken from his home by someone he knew Aug. 31. Theft is a first-degree misdemeanor, in this situation.
