Police: Peeping Tom, Drunk Woman Shoplifting, Youths Break Curfew

went to on Fishcreek Road June 25 because an employee suspected a woman shopping at the store was shoplifting and intoxicated. The 37-year-old woman took Seabond and earrings, valued at about $20 total. The woman was issued a summons to go to . Theft, in this situation, is a first-degree misdemeanor.

In other police news:

  • A 13-year-old female and 17-year-old male were found behind after curfew June 26. Police found condoms on the male, who turns 18 next week, and advised him that having sex with a minor has legal repercussions. Both teens were out of the house without their parents permission. Stow Youth Services is handling the case.
  • A Ridgewood Center apartment resident told police while she was getting ready for bed around 2:30 a.m. June 23 when she noticed someone was peeping in her window. Her bedroom is located on the first floor of the apartment complex. Voyeurism is a third-degree misdemeanor.
