Stow Police Seize Numerous Weapons from Sanford Avenue Home
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
On Thursday, collected nine guns and a knife at the residence of the man for nine hours earlier that day at the Sanford Avenue house.
Police Lt. Anne Stirm said the man, Nicholas Patrick Dobrzanski, 36, has a previous domestic violence conviction, and is prohibited from possessing a gun.
Police removed these weapons from the house at 3559 Sanford Ave.:

- One black revolver
- Two black 9mm pistols
- One 12 gauge shotgun
- One pump-action 16 gauge shotgun
- Two .22 long rifles
- One 12 gauge long rifle break-top
- One Winchester rifle
- One folding knife
As of June 24, Dobrzanski has not been charged with weapons violations.
Three children were in the house at the time, but were unaware of what was happening, said police. His wife received medical treatment following the incident.

Dobrzanski is charged with kidnapping, a second-degree felony, and domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. He remains in the Summit County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
