Woman Robbed, Hit by Car at Gas Station

A woman was hit by a car at the Speedway on Graham Road while two suspects took her purse with a significant amount of cash in it May 29.

The woman was knocked to the ground when she was hit by an open door on the suspect's car, according to .

She had a swollen chin and her right hand was cut, but she didn't have any serious injuries.

The two suspects got away with her purse with $2,000 in cash inside. A camera valued at $200 was also in the purse. The woman told police that one suspect tried to distract her while the other nabbed the bag.

After taking the purse out of her rental car parked at the gas station, the suspects took off west down Graham Road around 4:30 p.m., the report stated.

A witness was able to get the last four digits of the license plate.

Robbery, in this situation, is a second-degree felony.
