Finance, Law Directors Running Unopposed

The men currently serving as law director and finance director are the only two on the ballot this November.

No newcomers filed with the Summit County Board of Elections by Wednesday's deadline for the positions of Stow Law Director and Stow Finance Director.

Currently Law Director Brian Reali is running unopposed in November. Reali previously said, "I like the fact of being independent and not working for the mayor or City Council. I don't have to worry about pleasing a supervisor, I can do and say what I think is in the city's best interest and not have to worry about towing the company line."

Current Finance Director John Baranek is also running unopposed in November. Check back with Stow Patch for a story on Baranek.

Reali and Baranek's petitions are subject to withdrawal and certification, according to the BOE.
