Norton Road Closed Soon for Construction
Hudson and Stow are working on lowering a hill on Norton Road. The detour will be posted the week before construction begins.
Because of a construction project, a portion of Norton Road will be closed to motorists in Stow.
The city of Hudson is lowering a hill on Norton Road near Duffield Drive. Hudson and the city of Stow will mill and resurface Norton Road from SR 91 to Stow Road beginning in late June and running through August. Motorists should expect delays, but two-way traffic will be maintained.
Norton Road will be closed June 7-9. The closure is from east of Weston Drive to 2271 Norton Rd., which is just west of Stow Road, according to information posted on the city of Stow's website.
A detour will be in place and message boards will go up this week. The detour is Darrow Road to Terex Road/Barlow Road and then Stow Road.
